ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that you all experienced the same problem once you completed the quiz. I really don't know what could it be. Maybe they ask for some kind of registration on that page in order to be able to get particular feedback information. Sorry once more, I should have seen it by myself earlier.
But still we can do something with this quiz. I suppose you all went through all the questions and provided your answers. What about writing a short comment with your own reflection on it? What did you find out about your learning English? What are your goals and intrests as an English language learner? Please, think about it, and share your thoughts with us on our class blog.

I do not use English often. I am learning English to use information by reading newspapers or Internet. I think that in English is most important communicating and konwledge of English words, grammar. I often ask my friends some grammar questions and only a few of them know the correct answer. However, they are fluent in English and can read, speak, listen and communicate effectively. Reading, listening and speaking are most important aspects of any language. The same is true for English. I use English when I travel,when I was in Internet and when I speak to friends via Internet.
ReplyDeleteBeing able to speak a language is not related to how smart you are. I think that anyone can learn how to speak at least one language.
I think that I am focused on developing communication skills. I've learned most of the basics in school,
ReplyDeletebut now I am more focused on learning how to use English properly in every day communication. That's why I try to stay informed
by using different contents and doing activities that I'm interested in, that way I can enjoy learning something
new and it's much easier to memorize it.
I consider that learning a language is a continuing process and something we need to work on every day.
By using the English language actively and on a daily basis, we can easily develop all of our language skills without much effort.
As a many students I mostly use my Englsh at the class, but outside of the class I use my English when I talk with my friends on the facebook or email. It's very important for every person to learn new language beside first language because it is benefit for every person. The most important thing when you speak english is communicating, because on that way you improve your language. Beside the communicating in English learning also the pronunciation is very important so the people can understand us.

Hello to everyone.In my short review I shall try to say some essentiall things for me.As first,I wondered why I learn English language?This Quiz helped me a lot to understand it.Do I need to speak English to improve my skills related to the work I'm doing or I need it to speak for travel and hobbies?I realized the fact that I'm interested in communicating in English for my future job.The knowledge that I actually need,I want to focus on building and improving myself in a field of work where I want to be the best,as far as I can provide it,in accordance with my capabilities.

I have the same problem with my quiz. However, I was never a big fan of English, probably because it wasn't a "must" before, but I most definitely believe that it's important because it has a lot of benefits. I want to focus on improving my English because I will use it in the future. I believe that today knowledge is our strongest weapon, and there's a Latin saying: "Quot linguas calles, tot homines vales." I am excited about this opportunity to learn and gain new expirience.

Hello! I have problem with that quiz, because there was not any answer below. However, I am a beginner. I do not know many words of English. I think that English is most important language. In recent times as English has become a global language, used in different places all over the world, it has become a much richer language in the past. I use English only on the Internet. I should learn a lot of English words, because the English is of great benefit to me.

English language is important thing when you want to talk with people in other country, but I want to say you that my grammar is much better than my communication with other people. Also, the quiz help me to understand why I learn English language. English language helps me to read books which are writing on it, to find a better job in my future, learn new things and etc.

Some people says that you worth as much as you know language.English language is language that speaks all people in world.Wherever you go,you'll find someone who knows English language.It's hard to find a job today,but if you know English it will be easier to you to get employ.I like reading books,some of them aren't translated od bosnian,unfortunatly.I'll like to know English enough and can read books on English.There is a lot of reason why is good to know English language.

I speak English on holidays, not without mistakes, but enough to know the information that I needed, I often use the website in English, and it helps me a lot. I don't use English often in conversation because I don't know many people who speak English and want to use it in everyday conversation, but I wach TV shows and movies almost every day in English, without subtitles. For me, the most important English task is exchanging ideas with other people. And I probably never dream in English,it's so funny.

So, after having a feeling "I want to smash my computer because that site didn't work as it should"; I'm not quite interested in replying. But I'll try. :)
So, I'm using English almost every day for search on the internet. I'm looking for basic information and new techniques for paper crafting. Also, I'm finding interesting games and texts for preschool kids. Not so often I use it to communicate with my frinds on Facebook and wiht my friends volunteers. During Gramar school I used English to read Shakespeare's poetry, but that was a long time ago, when I had more spare time. So, that's all folks! :)

ReplyDeletei really enjoy learning english. i'm using it almost every day by talking with friends, reading,writting... i think english is so important in our lives..if we want to get good job, if we want to visit other countries, or communicate with foriegners, we need to know english language. but many peple isn't interested in leanrning lamguages, i dont know real reason, maybe they think it is hard to learn or they just don't want to learn it. but the point is- knowing other language make us more valuable person.

ReplyDeleteI am new here, so I will try to catch up with you guys.
I tried to open the quiz and actually succeeded but at the end I experienced the same problem as you did. So, I will try to summarize it here.
First of all, I really like English, a lot! When I was young (around 4-5) I used to watch cartoons on Sky one. I also think that was my first connection with the this language.
English language became the most important language in my life, after my native language, of course. The major reason is I work for American pharmaceutical company, so I have to communicate with my colleagues from all over the world on daily basis and English is the official language. I also have a lot of foreign friends and I am pretty much sure I am able to speak, understand and to be understood without any problems. I am also aware my English is not perfect but every day I learn something new and this is the way for me to improve my English knowledge.

I often use English, when I am listening to music, watch movies, when I travel and when I meet foreigners in my country. When I am outside the class I use English with other non-native English speakers, because I have a friend from Canada, she is actually from Pakistan, and that friendship helps me to learn English better. I also think thez the important thing is communicating. Learning English is fun and one of my hobbies.

I speak English every day at wotk, 8-9 hours a day. My English improved a lot, and I think speaking and understanding English language is very important for all people, nowdays. Most of the companies and schools are asking knowledge in English, so that's why it's so popular around the world. For me it's becoming like my native language. I enjoy reading books on English (Charles Dickens is my favourite author) more than on Bosnian. It' more fun and interesting. When I use internet, I'm always prefer pages on English, so in that way I'm always looking for some unknow words, and then I'm trying to find them in dictionary. I'm very confident with using English, and I'm using it most of the time when I'm communicating with people at work since I'm working in Internationl Preschool.

ReplyDeleteMy opinion about learning English language is obvious. It isn't that easy,but it's not so hard at all. First,you must have cabbage to start learning English language. Then you have to believe in your abilities to do that. That will lead you to the finish. I'm the type of a person who can undrestand other people speaking this language,but I'm not so good at speaking or writing, That's my big problem.
But I really hard want to learn how to speak English language,because,in my future,I want to travel many countries. And this language is one of the main languages all around the world. So then, I can communicate with strangers so easily. Learning English language is also important for finding new jobs,and knowing more than one language just makes us more smarter. That's my opinion.
